# Adding a new metric

You can create your own metric which can be used in a custom priority method. There are various metric types available to be picked from.

#### Steps to add your own metric

- Click on the metrics tab
- Click add new metric
- Provide a name
- Chose the metric type
- Provide Min and Max values
